Which chapter in World History did you enjoy most this year and why?
This year in World History we have learned a lot of things in many chapters. The chapter that I thought was the most interesting and I enjoyed the most was chapter 16. I think that chapter 16 is the most interesting because it is about The Revolutions in the Americas, The French Revolution, The Industrial Revolution, and The Second Industrial Revolution.
Describe some of the things that you learned in that chapter. Is there a project that you completed that you enjoyed working on?
I learned about many things in the chapter Ideas and Movements. I have learned that there was a lot of conflict between the Americas. I also learned how the American Revolution had begun. I have learned that there was major conflict in Haiti and how that has spread into other countries. I have also learned that Mexico and Central Asia wanted to gain independence for a long time. I learned about Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie Antoinette, Maximilien de Robespierre, Louis XVI, James Watt, George Stephenson, Robert Fulton, and many more people.
What new skills have you learned throughout the year?
I have learned new skills throughout this year. One skill is to work hard and to try my best. Another skill is to study a lot if you want to get a good grade.
How can you apply this knowledge to the real world?
You can apply this knowledge to the real world in many ways. You can relate it to the real world by seeing some of the Social Studies teachers. Also you can relate this to the real world by going to places that have historical figures, such as Gettysburg.
